Welcome to Our American Fork Veterinary Hospital!
At Utah Veterinary Hospital, our American Fork team is dedicated to providing you and your pet with the best possible experience every time you come in. It's no secret that most pets don't enjoy going to the vet, which is why we go out of our way to create a warm, welcoming, and stress-free environment for all pets (and their owners) in our office.
Save Time: Fill Out Paperwork Before Your Visit
We get it; you lead a busy life, so the last thing you need is to spend 30 minutes filling out paperwork in the waiting room during your pet's first visit with us. To save you time and hassle, we have all our new patient paperwork available online so you can easily view, print, and complete the necessary paperwork at your leisure. Then, simply bring it into our office during your first visit so our friendly office staff can get you and your pet entered into our system. This speeds up the entire process and reduces your waiting time when you're here.
Getting to Know Our Staff
At Utah Veterinary Hospital, we are firm believers in getting to know pets and their owners. After all, your pet is a part of your family, and it is our mission to treat each pet as one of our own. By getting to know your pet, we can work to help them feel more comfortable in our office and make the entire process more enjoyable for everybody involved. When you come in for your pet's first appointment, then, don't expect us to rush you into an exam room to start poking and prodding your pet. We'd rather take the time to get to know you both, asking questions about your pet's lifestyle, medical history, and the like. This is also a good opportunity for you to tell us about any problematic symptoms or other concerns you may have noticed in your pet.
Your Pet's First Exam
We highly recommend a wellness exam for your pet's first visit with us; this is a great way for us to learn more about your pet's overall health and wellness, as well as get your pet up-to-date on any vaccines or immunizations. Once we've taken the time to get to know each other, we'll continue with your pet's exam, being on the lookout for any signs of potential health problems. If any issues are suspected, we may recommend additional diagnostic testing or follow-up appointments, but we'll always take the time to make sure you're well-informed on any test or procedure, and that we have your consent, before we do anything.
